Inamo, Soho

--

A restuarant with tradmark touchscreen tables has a lot to live up to

One of the things that really makes Inamo stand out is the excellent vegetarian options, such as the vegetable gyoza, Asparagus Tempura Uramaki and Bang Bang cauliflower as well as a hearty vegetarian miso soup. None of this detracts from the plethora of delicious fish and meat options with everything from fried chicken to elegant sushi on the menu!

(Which can be found at https://www.inamo-restaurant.com/menu/ if you fancy a peek)

Now for what you really want to know about: the tables. Games include “Ping”, Battleship, and several brain teaser puzzles. The Chef Cam can only give so many clues as to what Inamo’s cabal of mysterious culinary artists are up to, whilst perhaps the most underrated feature is the ability to change the tablecloth, *without* risking your entire meal on a showy waiter’s fast reflexes.

Visitors are well furnished with a great range of fruit juices and several interesting and capable house wines. The red has a soft and forgiving yet still impressively mature flavour that nonetheless avoids intimidating potential drinkers the way red wines often do. Inamo’s white wine follows suit, with caring fragrances of strawberry and peach to very gently guide the taster through the meal.

Nobody expects the Spanish Dessert!*

To top it all off, great deserts abound including quality coconut ice cream and a very well balanced panacotta with lemon cream and rasberries. They even have churros. Taster’s Note: while the unlimited buffet option does in fact have an inbuilt limit of 3 dishes per person at any one time, this still does not mean that you can take home a doggy bag!

*I have in fact been reliably informed that churros are not traditionally eaten for dessert but the pun was just too good
